Light crane systems or workstation cranes are becoming ever more popular within the UK as the result of the manual handling regulations (Lowler) we now have. Cranes with capacities as low as 30 or kilograms are not uncommon. We have installed straight and curved crane systems as well as turntables with junction switches.

• If you know the following it would help- but don't worry if you don't know them:

• The height of lift required - floor to rail or hoist.
• The safe working load or weight of the load lifted.
• The span of the gantry crane.
• The down shop length if support steelwork or an electrical festoon is needed.
• If you DO NOT have these details our engineers can visit your site and take all the required details, free of charge.
• The headroom available above the crane or below the hook may need to be considered.

Environments that need extra consideration are not a problem for our KBK1 and KBK2 crane systems, such as hot or steamy factories or even where dust and gases may be present.
